About: This 53-acre park includes a large pond, fishing pier, open fields, picnic shelters, playground, restroom facilities, an one-mile walking trail and workout stations. Pathways extend all over the park and around the lake creating a one-mile loop. The lakeside paths extend out into wooded areas. The paved trail is equipped with wooden bridges over marshy areas.
Location: 50 Jarvis Park Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. Coming onto the island, turn right on Jarvis Park Street, the first stoplight past the intersection of Business 278 with the Cross Island Toll Road (Gumtree Road).
Hours: 6 am to 6pm daily (to 9 pm during daylight savings time).
