About: Folly Island is a barrier island in the Atlantic Ocean near Charleston, South Carolina. It is one of the Sea Islands and is within the boundaries of Charleston County, South Carolina. Hours: Folly Beach County Park is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm during summer and 10 am to 5 pm in winter. Admission is $5 per vehicle.
